Remote Front End UI Developer for Fortnite Creative (UEFN)

Description:

• The Front End UI Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces for Fortnite Creative projects using Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).
• Collaborate with game designers, artists, and developers to create engaging UI designs aligned with the game vision.
• Design and implement UI elements like menus, HUDs, buttons, icons, and overlays within the UEFN ecosystem.
• Ensure UI designs are optimized for performance and usability across different devices and platforms.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts and iterate based on feedback.
• Maintain visual design consistency for a cohesive user experience throughout the game.
• Stay updated on the latest UI design trends and best practices, especially within the UEFN context.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues during development and post-launch.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a UI Developer, preferably in game development.
• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
• Strong understanding of Unreal Engine and UEFN capabilities and limitations, including Blueprint scripting for UI.
• Experience with designing and implementing UI for various screen sizes and resolutions.
• Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail and aesthetics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate on designs effectively.
• Passion for gaming and understanding of Fortnite Creative mode.
