Description:
Rockpoint Legal Funding is seeking a Front-End Web Developer & Designer to join their team remotely.
The position is classified as a contractor and falls under the Marketing department, reporting to the EVP of Technology.
The role involves maintaining and upgrading a WordPress-based website tech stack, ensuring the integrity of custom-built code.
Responsibilities include uploading fresh content, maintaining URL structure, and optimizing for Google SEO best practices.
The developer will meet regularly with the Head of Technology to assess progress against goals and site KPIs.
The position requires monitoring analytics, backlink health, and making suggestions for improvements.
The candidate will be responsible for front-end web design, building new websites, and managing multiple existing websites.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
Prior experience with WordPress is mandatory.
The candidate must have a strong ability to write custom code.
An advanced understanding and experience with Google Analytics (GA4) is necessary.
Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Moz and Semrush to evaluate performance metrics is required.
The individual should have an advanced understanding of APIs and plug-ins associated with the tech stack.
Advanced web design skills and front-end web programming skills are essential.
A positive attitude and the ability to work as a team player are important.
Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing) are required.
The candidate must possess strong analytical and organizational skills, with immaculate attention to detail.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-management skills are necessary.
A thorough understanding of confidentiality and discretion is required.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (C1/C2) is preferred.
