Remote Front-End Web Developer & Designer

Description:

• Rockpoint Legal Funding is seeking a Front-End Web Developer & Designer to join their team remotely.
• The position is classified as a contractor and falls under the Marketing department, reporting to the EVP of Technology.
• The role involves maintaining and upgrading a WordPress-based website tech stack, ensuring the integrity of custom-built code.
• Responsibilities include uploading fresh content, maintaining URL structure, and optimizing for Google SEO best practices.
• The developer will meet regularly with the Head of Technology to assess progress against goals and site KPIs.
• The position requires monitoring analytics, backlink health, and making suggestions for improvements.
• The candidate will be responsible for front-end web design, building new websites, and managing multiple existing websites.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• Prior experience with WordPress is mandatory.
• The candidate must have a strong ability to write custom code.
• An advanced understanding and experience with Google Analytics (GA4) is necessary.
• Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Moz and Semrush to evaluate performance metrics is required.
• The individual should have an advanced understanding of APIs and plug-ins associated with the tech stack.
• Advanced web design skills and front-end web programming skills are essential.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work as a team player are important.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing) are required.
• The candidate must possess strong analytical and organizational skills, with immaculate attention to detail.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-management skills are necessary.
• A thorough understanding of confidentiality and discretion is required.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (C1/C2) is preferred.
