Description:

  • Join Locals as the first Frontend Developer to work on developing a web version of the Locals App for mobile and desktop browsers, an internal CRM system, and a dashboard for club creators with analytics and community management.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Engineering to expand Locals' functionality by developing various features.
  • Assist in creating marketing pages, SEO optimization, and implementing complex animations using CSS animations/Framer Motion.
  • Participate in cross-team collaboration for the implementation of new features and work closely with designers to ensure high-quality implementations.

Requirements:

  • Must have 4+ years of experience in front-end development.
  • Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and curiosity are required.
  • Extensive experience with React and NestJs (server components, server actions, hosted on Vercel) is necessary.
  • Good understanding of TailwindCSS + HeadlessUI and Framer Motion.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and working closely with marketing and design specialists in previous roles.
  • Hands-on experience with backend development is a plus.
  • Understanding or familiarity with Motion Design is beneficial.
