Description:
As a Frontend Engineer on the Marketing Engineering team at Cloudflare, you will be responsible for building and maintaining layouts for the marketing website, blog, marketing automation, and more.
You will work on building Contentful content models and contribute to a redesign project.
Utilize tools, frameworks, and libraries to enhance www.cloudflare.com and the Cloudflare Blog, with a current focus on Gatsby and bonus points for experience with Astro JS.
Review and provide feedback on work from team members at all stages of the development process.
Support team members through constructive code reviews and pair programming to ensure high-quality work.
Represent the team internally and externally through activities like blogging and tech talks.
Requirements:
More than 2 years of experience in building and managing high volume web applications, with knowledge of React, Typescript, and Astro being advantageous.
Experience in building, deploying, and operating services.
Strong bias for action and a track record of contributing to teams that deliver results.
Understanding of core web vitals and client-side problem-solving.
Deep knowledge of scaling mobile-first design plans.
Experience in contributing to build systems for large JavaScript projects.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with curiosity and empathy being valued traits.
Deep understanding of web technologies such as web browsers, HTTP, JavaScript, and the DOM.
Bonus qualifications include contributing to open-source JavaScript tools, familiarity with A/B testing and personalization platforms like Adobe Target and Analytics.
