Remote Frontend Engineer

Description:

• Paddle is a SaaS company that provides a unique approach to payment infrastructure by acting as a Merchant of Record for customers, eliminating the complexity of payment fragmentation.
• The Frontend Engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to enhance the user experience for customers.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the checkout user interface and user experience, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user journey through the checkout and payment flow.
• The role involves working on critical frontend applications, developing new products, enhancing existing front-end architecture, collaborating with product designers, providing engineering advice, and improving the dashboard user experience through iterative enhancements.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, CSS, React Testing Library/Jest, and Playwright.
• Experience in developing high-performing front-end applications in agile Product teams.
• Ability to work closely with Product designers, participate in ideation sessions, and understand the development process from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Familiarity with AWS/Terraform and DevOps practices, or willingness to learn.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with backend teams on API specifications and integration.
