The company is re-architecting the financial data layer for independent businesses, replacing outdated systems with an affordable accounting, banking, and payments platform.
The role of Frontend Engineer involves driving technical decisions and influencing product direction to enhance agricultural sustainability and profitability.
Responsibilities include owning the delivery of product experiences, teaching best practices in frontend development, learning about agrifinance, and improving existing component APIs.
Within the first month, the engineer will learn to use Ambrook’s tech stack, collaborate with the Design team, analyze best practices, and familiarize themselves with the product and customer needs.
By three months, the engineer will influence feature prioritization, execute design system improvements, and own updates to core products.
Within six months, the engineer will design improvements to the frontend stack, champion engineering excellence, and participate in hiring.

Requirements:

Candidates should have significant experience (4+ years) delivering high-quality web applications to production environments.
Advanced engineering and coding skills are required, including fluency with data structures and asynchronous programming.
A passion for building software that enhances sustainability in natural resource industries is essential.
Candidates must be comfortable tackling ambiguous problems and creating elegant technical solutions.
Bonus qualifications include experience in various company sizes, building financial products, and familiarity with Typescript, React, React Native, and/or Next.js.
