Description:

  • Updater, Inc. is seeking an emerging Frontend Engineer to join the MoveHQ division, focusing on frontend development.
  • The role involves developing and implementing new user interface features for the MoveHQ suite of products using Javascript and modern frontend technologies.
  • The engineer will collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality across the platform.
  • The position includes contributing to the maintenance of defined technical standards and best practices for frontend development under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Participation in testing and quality assurance processes is required to ensure high usability, accessibility, and performance standards for the frontend.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong foundation in Javascript and exposure to HTML, CSS, and frontend Javascript frameworks.
  • The ideal candidate should be collaborative and eager to learn, ready to grow technical skills while working closely with experienced engineers.
  • Familiarity with basic software development practices and tools, including version control systems like Git and Agile methodologies, is necessary.
  • Basic proficiency in testing and debugging is required, along with an understanding of the importance of delivering reliable and bug-free user interfaces.
  • Effective communication skills are essential for working well in a team environment and articulating technical challenges and solutions.
