Remote Frontend Engineer

Description:

• Ryanair Labs, a tech start-up within an airline, is seeking a senior talented Frontend Engineer to join their digital development team.
• The role involves working closely with the development and product team to develop, modify, and support websites and operational applications.
• The team follows Agile Scrum methodology and works on projects related to the Ryanair website, Ryanair Rooms website, and internal applications.
• The Tech Stack includes the latest frontend technologies and frameworks like Angular, microsites architecture, and cloud hosting on AWS with serverless infrastructure.
• Responsibilities include delivering best-in-class user interfaces, developing high-quality software, driving best technology practices, and participating in regular showcases of new work.
• The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience as a Frontend Developer, be proficient in modern frontend technologies, have a passion for user experience, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience working as a FrontEnd Developer.
• Proficiency in modern frontend technology stack (HTML5, Typescript, CSS).
• Comfortable coding custom JavaScript solutions and utilizing existing frameworks.
• Expert knowledge of building high-performing websites and applying page performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to build and maintain cross-browser/device compatible sites.
• Exposure or appreciation of agile development practices.
• Passionate about user experience and maintaining a CI/CD environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent understanding of coding standards for high-volume websites.
• Experience working with large e-commerce websites and databases.
• Bonus points for AWS knowledge and proficiency.
• IT Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
