Bugcrowd is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join their growing Engineering team, focusing on building enterprise-ready and highly secure software systems.
The role involves working on a legacy application that requires maintenance and conversion from Angular to React.
The engineer will improve the platform for both external users and internal teams, such as Application Security Engineers.
Responsibilities include collaborating with the product team and stakeholders to provide engineering and UX perspectives in platform design.
The engineer will assist product designers within the Design System, which emphasizes high accessibility and standards compliance.
The goal is to build a platform that connects hackers globally with companies to enhance internet security.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3-5+ years of web development experience.
A strong understanding of modern web front-end architectures and patterns is required.
Proficiency in Angular and React is essential.
Candidates should be skilled in JavaScript and Typescript.
Familiarity with ESBuild and JavaScript test frameworks is necessary.
Knowledge of Haml is preferred as the team migrates to React frontends.
Understanding of HTML5 and web document and app semantics is required.
Familiarity with modern CSS and Progressive Enhancement web development concepts is necessary.
Candidates should understand front-end performance issues in web applications.
Familiarity with secure development best practices (OWASP, etc.), Cypress, and inclusive design is a plus but not mandatory.
