Remote Frontend Engineer

Description:

• The Frontend Engineer will be responsible for implementing custom Shopify themes and front-end development.
• They will write high-quality code using Liquid, JavaScript, React, Tailwind, GraphQL, and other front-end frameworks.
• The ideal candidate should have experience leading Shopify projects and understanding best practices.
• Responsibilities include working independently or as part of a team to ensure high-quality work, communicating effectively with clients and team members, and making high-level decisions on code quality and releases.
• The engineer will manage multiple projects, plan and implement project components, and contribute significantly to project delivery.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of Liquid, JavaScript, React, Tailwind CSS, GraphQL, REST, and Git.
• Experience with Shopify development, including themes and APIs.
• Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence or other ticket management systems.
• 2-3 years of eCommerce experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in writing software documentation.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and articulate complex systems to team members.
• Self-management skills, delivering high-quality work consistently and demonstrating above-average productivity.
