Remote Frontend Engineer

Description:

• The Frontend Engineer position at Latch involves designing and implementing robust, efficient, and scalable frontend applications while following best practices in web development.
• Responsibilities include leading and mentoring junior frontend engineers, ensuring high code quality through code reviews, collaborating with UI/UX designers, identifying and resolving frontend performance bottlenecks, and working closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers.
• The role also requires supporting technical emergency requests and providing timely responses to alerts as needed.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience working with Frontend technologies and be proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Angular, JSX, CSS pre-processors like Sass, and JS packaging/build systems (Webpack, Esbuild, Parcel/swc, Rollup, etc.) is desired.
• Excellent English communication skills are mandatory.
• Nice to have experience includes working with Webflow and Shopify.
