Remote Frontend Engineer

• The company lastminute.com is looking for a Frontend Engineer to join their team in Wrocław, Poland. The position is full-time, and employees have the option to work remotely. As a Frontend Engineer, you will collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers to create innovative web applications. Key responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, contributing to software architecture discussions, focusing on performance and security, working closely with designers and product teams, engaging with stakeholders, staying updated on industry trends, and participating in training sessions and self-directed learning opportunities.

Requirements:

• Essential qualifications for the position include having 2+ years of experience in frontend development, proficiency in JavaScript with familiarity in React, hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and related technologies, strong teamwork and communication skills, eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment, and proficiency in English. Desirable qualifications include experience with browser testing and debugging, ability to work independently, familiarity with Redux or similar state management libraries, knowledge of TypeScript, understanding of caching systems like Redis, experience with Node.js, proficiency with version control systems like Git, strong problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of GitLab CI/CD.
