Remote Frontend Engineer

Description:

• The Frontend Engineer in Greece will be responsible for producing and implementing functional software solutions in a hybrid work environment. They will collaborate closely with senior management to define software requirements and deliver high-quality technology solutions aligned with customers' roadmaps and quality standards. The role involves working as part of an agile team in a cross-functional manner.
• Daily responsibilities include delivering technical solutions within expected functionality, budget, and timeline parameters, enhancing code quality through coding standards, best practices, automation, and code reviews, contributing innovative ideas, staying updated on existing and emerging technologies, understanding and balancing aspects like security, privacy, quality, and more.
• The Frontend Engineer will work with senior management to clarify goals and business objectives, participate in recruitment and decision-making for team hiring, propose and support necessary job training, oversee the onboarding process for new hires, build trust and respect within the team, and engage in continuous learning and industry trends.

Requirements:

• University level degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a postgraduate degree being a plus.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a Front End engineering role.
• Proven experience in leading high-performance geographically dispersed software development teams.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, and specific frameworks/libraries such as Nuxt, Next, Spine/Pixi.js.
• Experience with version control systems like Git, responsive design, performance optimization, web security, accessibility, UI/UX, communication skills, documentation, continuous learning, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal), advanced organizational skills, ability to give and receive constructive feedback, enjoy collaborative work, positive attitude, and good sense of humor.
