Description:
- Brandwatch, a Cision product, is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join the Publish team responsible for developing solutions to ideate, plan, and publish content to social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- The Frontend Engineer will be involved in the entire process of bringing a feature from discovery to production delivery.
- Responsibilities include improving and maintaining the frontend stack of Publish, collaborating with other teams to uphold high-quality standards, delivering well-tested and scalable solutions, and acting as a sparring partner to team members.
- The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular, experience in building and debugging complex systems, familiarity with the web stack and Web APIs, and a working knowledge of reactive programming best practices.
- Additionally, knowledge of unit testing frameworks, excellent communication and teamwork skills, adaptability, resourcefulness, and familiarity with RESTful APIs are desired.
- Fluency in English is required for this position.
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as Angular
- Experience in building and debugging complex systems
- Familiarity with the whole web stack and working knowledge of the Web APIs
- Working knowledge of reactive programming best practices
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest) and end-to-end testing is desirable
- Excellent skills in communication and teamwork
- Adaptable, resourceful, and able to share knowledge with the team
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and design is a plus
- Fluency in English
