KOMOJU is the leading cross-border payment gateway for Japan, powering payments for companies like Steam and TikTok.
The company is looking for a Frontend Engineer to help build a UI layer that enhances the experience for both developers and end users.
The current application is built using React and Next, with some applications using Vue.js.
The role requires a growth mindset and a passion for creating great visual and interactive experiences.
Responsibilities include delivering reliable frontend pages and components, supporting teams through code reviews, writing tests for stability, reducing tech debt, and collaborating with the team to develop strategies.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of professional experience with modern SPA frameworks and libraries, particularly React; Vue.js is a plus.
Experience in building and maintaining a design system and reusable component library is required.
Candidates should be able to build pages that perform well on any screen size from written product specs or low-fidelity mockups.
Comfort with troubleshooting and debugging throughout the entire stack is necessary.
Good communication skills and experience in product development in remote/asynchronous environments are essential.
Experience in integrating RESTful APIs to create dynamic and data-driven user interfaces is required.

Experience with Typescript, JavaScript/TypeScript build toolchains like Vite, Webpack, or Turbopack.
Familiarity with Playwright, Storybook, BrowserStack, or similar tools.
Experience with Ruby on Rails, multi-lingual applications (i18n), accessibility (a11y), observability (o11y), and creating open source libraries is beneficial.
