Description:

PayPay is seeking a web frontend engineer to join their team and build features that enhance how people in Japan manage their finances and businesses.
The role involves collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and various tech teams to implement features.
Engineers are expected to contribute by sharing knowledge, participating in code reviews, and providing feedback to maintain best practices.
Responsibilities also include triaging, debugging, and resolving product issues.
The tech stack includes TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Vue.js, React, NestJS, Express.js, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and more.
The position is fully remote, allowing employees to work from anywhere in Japan.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 3 years of industry experience in developing secure web frontend applications using JavaScript or other transpile-to-JavaScript languages.
A minimum of 1 year of experience with VueJS (preferred) or React is required.
Knowledge of software engineering best practices and computer science fundamentals is essential.
Business-level proficiency in English is necessary.
Additional qualifications include experience with frontend performance monitoring, iOS or Android development, designing server-side RESTful APIs, and web hosting infrastructure.

The position offers a full-time employment status with super flex time and no core hours.
Employees receive annual leave (up to 14 days in the first year), personal leave (5 days each year), and special paid leave for personal matters.
The salary is paid in 12 installments, based on skills and experience, with annual reviews and a special incentive based on performance.
