Description:

  • As a Frontend Engineer on the Extensibility team at Airbyte, you will work on advancing Airbyte’s Connector Builder and Low-Code Connector Development Kit, which facilitate data replication from internal sources to data warehouses, databases, and vector DBs.
  • Your responsibilities will include building and enhancing features of Connector Builder to simplify connector creation and maintenance, empowering all teams at Airbyte to utilize Builder effectively, and focusing on improving developer experience and infrastructure.
  • You will collaborate with the open-source community, shape the Connector Builder and Extensibility roadmap, enhance engineering processes and documentation, write high-leverage code, and mentor other engineers.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in frontend technologies, particularly Javascript and React.
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Previous experience in building developer tools and/or B2B applications.
  • Ability to work directly with product users, onboard and support them.
  • Experience in leading an engineering team, leveling up other engineers, and supporting other teams within the organization.
  • Proficiency in Python, with the ability to read code and build prototypes.
  • Capability to influence without authority, collaborate with engineers of varying levels, and a strong desire to continuously improve.
  • Alignment with Airbyte's values.
