Remote Frontend Engineer

Description:

• The Frontend Engineer position at Drops, A Kahoot! Company, involves working with key technologies such as TypeScript, React Native, AWS Lambda, Sanity CMS, and more.
• The role requires strong TypeScript skills, understanding of agile methodologies, and effective communication of development efforts.
• You will collaborate with backend using AWS Lambda, participate in CI/CD processes with Buildkite and GitHub Actions, and work closely with designers and product managers to deploy features efficiently.
• Responsibilities include writing and optimizing TypeScript code, ensuring frontend quality through testing and automation, and maintaining scalable front-end code for mobile and web applications.
• Communication with the team will be facilitated through Slack and Confluence.

Requirements:

• Experience with TypeScript and React Native.
• Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience working in agile product team environments.
