Remote Frontend Engineer - K6

Description:

• The Frontend Engineer position at Grafana Cloud involves working on the composable observability platform that integrates metrics, logs, and traces with Grafana.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining an Electron.js app based on TypeScript and React.js, collaborating with the design/product team to enhance user experience, influencing the roadmap, and participating in on-call rotations.
• The role requires driving projects from ideation to operations, working in a fully remote setup, and possessing an independent attitude and good communication skills.
• The tech stack primarily consists of services in TypeScript and Go, running on multiple Kubernetes clusters leveraging AWS.

Requirements:

• Must have experience delivering projects from requirements gathering to product shipping in a self-driven manner.
• Solid experience with single-page apps connecting to REST/APIs services.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, ES6+, and modern CSS with at least 4 years of experience.
• At least 2 years of day-to-day working experience with Electron.js and React.js.
• Experience in architecting clean, resilient, and user-friendly web apps that are easily maintainable by others.

Benefits:

• The base compensation range for the role is CAD 146,000 - CAD 175,000 in Canada, with actual compensation varying based on level, experience, and skillset.
