Description:

  • The company Sweed is seeking a Frontend Engineer (React) to work on the Leaf Trade product, a comprehensive cannabis retail solution with features like POS functionality, analytics, marketing tools, and inventory management.
  • The role involves working on aspects such as orders, partial delivery, inventory, warehouse, integration with shipping services, data submission to US government agencies, and part of the marketplace.
  • Challenges include rebuilding and upgrading the user experience, improving site functionality, enhancing in-platform advertisements, updating legacy functionality, and integrating a new component library.
  • The tech stack includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Redux, Jest for testing, yarn for package management, webpack for module bundling, and development within the Django web app framework.
  • The position offers a probation period of 3 months, flexible working hours with at least 4 hours overlapping with Chicago time, fully remote work, salary in dollars under a B2B contract with the USA, 20 working days of vacation per year, 3 sick leave days, and medical insurance available after the probation period.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Frontend development experience, preferably in a product company.
  • Proficiency in React.
  • Excellent communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
