Remote Frontend Engineer (React)

Description:

• Help Scout is seeking a Frontend Engineer (React) to join their fully remote team.
• The role involves crafting delightful user experiences for over 12,000 customer-centric businesses worldwide.
• You will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers in small, agile teams.
• Responsibilities include maintaining high standards in JavaScript and CSS best practices, focusing on UI/UX excellence, and implementing designs from Figma and Storybook.
• You will prioritize performance, security, and usability to enhance customer experience.
• The position requires occasional collaboration with backend technologies, particularly REST APIs, although PHP experience is not mandatory.
• The work environment is remote, with a focus on autonomy and trust, and communication primarily through Slack.
• The role is limited to candidates located in the United States, with a time zone requirement of overlapping working hours from 9 AM to 1 PM ET.
