Description:
Puzzle is seeking a Frontend Engineer to work remotely in Latin America.
The role involves collaborating cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to execute product strategies and develop features that enhance user experience.
Responsibilities include participating in the full development cycle, which encompasses technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and product launch.
The engineer will review code and design documents, provide feedback on product specifications, and mentor junior engineers to enhance their technical skills.
The position requires balancing speed and quality in product development, ensuring that new products are built quickly without compromising on quality.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience, specifically in front-end programming languages such as Javascript, Typescript, and ES6.
At least 3 years of experience in an enterprise-sized environment with large-scale products is required.
Proficiency in one or more front-end web frameworks, including LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular, along with experience in CSS is necessary.
Familiarity with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, and Thrift basics, as well as the ability to design and implement maintainable APIs, is a plus.
Experience with distributed caching layers and large-scale data storage systems is expected.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines are essential.
A BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
Candidates should possess an entrepreneurial spirit, be self-directed, innovative, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration in a fully remote setting.
