Description:

As a Senior front-end engineer in the Tooling team, you will develop Rivendell, a UI framework that supports web applications across various teams.
This position involves close collaboration with the lead UX designer, tech leads, and senior engineers to understand challenges and deliver a scalable, maintainable, browser-compatible, and accessible framework.
The team currently consists of a lead backend engineer, a senior frontend engineer, and a lead UX designer, with plans to expand in the future.
The team works in Kanban and follows a modular approach to building components.
Your contributions will help engineers move faster, solve problems more easily, and create smoother user interfaces, with a focus on accessibility.
You will work with modern tools and technologies, including React and TypeScript, and have opportunities for learning and growth.

Requirements:

You must have at least 5 years of proven commercial front-end experience, preferably in a dynamic product environment.
Strong knowledge of TypeScript and React is required.
While the focus will be on UI framework development, you should be comfortable working across the stack when needed, including nodejs and docker.
It is a bonus if you have experience building a UI framework.
You should possess strong ownership skills in discovery, delivery planning, and execution, collaborating with other engineering teams and cross-functional peers.
Curiosity and a strong sense of ownership are essential.

A passion for writing simple, maintainable, and tested code is important.
