Remote Frontend Engineer (Vue + React)

Description:

• Remedy Product Studios is seeking a Frontend Engineer proficient in Vue and React to join their team in Colombia, Brazil, or Peru.
• The company specializes in working with and investing in startups and brands to build and scale digital products.
• The Frontend Engineer will collaborate with product managers and partners to develop high-quality digital products, including web apps, mobile apps, data science tools, and firmware for connected devices.
• Responsibilities include discussing user interface ideas, reviewing application requirements, developing responsive user interface components using React concepts, writing application interface codes with Typescript, writing unit tests, troubleshooting interface software, and monitoring front-end performance.
• The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of professional software development experience, excellent communication skills, experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies, and proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Typescript.
• Knowledge of VueJs, ReactJs, React tools like React-router and Redux, user interface design, performance testing frameworks like Jest and React-testing-library, and browser-based debugging and performance testing software is required.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Excellent communication skills with a minimum B2 level of English
• Comfortable in fast-changing environments with rapid iteration cycles
• Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Typescript
• Knowledge of VueJs, ReactJs, React tools, user interface design, and performance testing frameworks
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software
