  • The engineer will tackle challenges involving graph data, query optimization, and real-time interactions in the browser.
  • Collaboration across teams is essential, working closely with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver seamless, end-to-end solutions.
  • The engineer will contribute to shaping the product by influencing technical architecture, UI/UX strategy, and product direction as the company grows.
  • The role includes owning the codebase, improving and expanding it with an emphasis on performance, maintainability, and scalability.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience building enterprise-grade products with complex requirements and long-term maintainability is required.
  • A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles, is necessary.
  • Deep experience with modern frameworks like React, Vue, or similar, along with strong proficiency in TypeScript, is essential.
  • Expertise in state management tools like Redux, Pinia, or VueX, including handling persistence, concurrency, and large datasets, is required.
  • Familiarity with backend systems and APIs (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar) and an understanding of data flow from backend to frontend is necessary.
  • A background in building “desktop-class” web applications with significant state, business logic, and UI complexity is required.
  • A passion for tools that support data engineering, visualization, and analysis is essential.
  • A user-first mindset with a dedication to creating responsive, intuitive interfaces that users love is necessary.
  • Curiosity and initiative, with an interest in advanced topics (e.g., graph data, domain-specific languages, type theory) and a drive to keep learning, are important.
