Description:

  • Belvo is an open finance API platform aiming to democratize access to financial services in Latin America.
  • The company enables financial innovators to access and interpret financial data and initiate payments from end-users' accounts.
  • The team consists of over 90 people from 20 nationalities, with offices in São Paulo and Mexico City, and a significant portion working remotely.

  • The role involves exploring and building Native SDKs for the Payment solution, building web applications, UI components, and libraries for frontend products.
  • Responsibilities include supporting customers in interacting with the banking ecosystem, ensuring projects are reliable, scalable, secure, and well-documented, and implementing client-facing interfaces.
  • The position requires collaboration with other product engineers to identify pain points and contribute to the development of client-facing features and their UX/UI.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3+ years of experience building scalable web applications and tools using JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience in fast-paced startup environments is required.
  • Eagerness to learn and experiment with building Native applications (React Native, Flutter, etc.) is essential.
  • A deep understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, etc.) is necessary.
  • Candidates should have a passion for great user experience and API design.
  • Empathy, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to work effectively with a team are important.
  • A desire to work closely with developers who depend on the libraries to deliver customer value is required.
  • Attention to detail, especially around performance, reliability, and security, is crucial.
