Remote Frontend Software Engineer

Description:

• Contrast Security is seeking a highly technical front-end engineer proficient in CSS, Typescript, web development, and ReactJS.
• The ideal candidate should have experience in building scalable single-page applications (SPAs) using ReactJS, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with UX, Product, and Engineering teams, designing testability and acceptance, and ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• The engineer will work on developing rich user interfaces for high-availability analytics applications using front-end technologies.
• Other responsibilities include managing React components, optimizing page performance, participating in collaboration activities, and contributing to the Open Source Community.
• The position involves deploying code to AWS infrastructure and providing technical support to customers.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building modern, scalable front-end web applications in Enterprise or Commercial Software development.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with Typescript, React functional components, REST APIs, and CSS-in-JS libraries.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and tools/frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Cucumber, Prettier, and JUnit.
• Experience in Enterprise or Commercial Software development, clean coding practices, and continuous refactoring.
