Description:
Workshop is looking for a driven frontend software engineer to help develop and design their software solutions.
This position is an exciting opportunity for someone with 2-5 years of experience building software and who wants to be part of a software-as-a-service (SaaS) business.
As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will work closely with the product and design team to translate and execute product vision into a scalable product.
You will be a stakeholder in engineering and product strategy, having meaningful and direct ownership in your work.
You will have the autonomy to ship code to production regularly and frequently.
Your responsibilities will include developing tested, scalable core product features that are seamlessly integrated with the API-driven frontend.
You will own the technical direction on key roadmap projects for the team.
Requirements:
A passion for building and maintaining quality user experiences on the web at scale is essential.
You must be detail-oriented, as product excellence is viewed as a north star; success is defined by users successfully using Workshop and caring about the end-to-end user experience.
A strong understanding of modern software development methodologies and their best practices is required.
Deep knowledge and experience in object-oriented programming in JavaScript frameworks like Vue or React is necessary, with a preference for deep experience in Vue.
Experience with SQL database, schema, and query design and optimization is required, with a preference for PostgreSQL.
You should care for web performance and optimization, treating performance as a feature.
Interest or experience in securing web applications is a plus.
