Remote Frontend Software Engineer III, Profile Features

Description:

• The Frontend Software Engineer III for Profile Features at Reddit will work on developing novel products and features for Reddit users.
• This role involves collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to execute product and business strategies.
• Responsibilities include contributing to the full development cycle, reviewing code and design docs, and mentoring junior engineers.
• The engineer will continuously learn and enhance both technical and non-technical skills.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of professional software development experience in front-end programming languages like Javascript, Typescript, and ES6.
• Proficiency in front-end web frameworks such as LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular, along with CSS.
• Strong experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift basics, and designing maintainable APIs.
• Familiarity with distributed caching layers and large-scale data storage systems.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and deliver projects on time.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias towards action, innovation, and building new things.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a remote work environment.
