Remote Frontend Software Engineer - Network Services

Description:

• Cloudflare is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join their Network Services team.
• The role involves working on the Cloudflare Dashboard to add new functionality and build reusable components and libraries.
• Responsibilities include building visualizations for large amounts of data, constantly learning new technologies, and mentoring other frontend engineers.
• The position requires collaborating with designers, content owners, project managers, and software engineers across different product lines.
• The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, with 5+ years of experience in building web applications.
• Required skills include proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, React library, and JSX.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, responsive design, and code review is essential.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and excellent communication skills are necessary.
• Nice to have skills include networking knowledge, experience with Redux, TanStack Query, and creating E2E tests using Cypress or Playwright.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years experience building web applications.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript and/or Typescript.
• Strong knowledge of the React library and JSX.
• Automate unit tests using the React Testing Library.
• Experience working with and/or designing RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with GraphQL.
• Understanding of responsive design and its implementation.
• Be able to review code and provide insightful feedback.
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented or functional design.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
