HackerRank is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to work remotely within the United States.
The role is full-time and focuses on building a platform for developers to showcase their skills and get hired.
The engineer will have significant ownership of products and engineering, contributing to the world’s leading technical interview platform.
Responsibilities include building systems for screening, interviews, and enhancing the developer experience across products.
The engineer will help scale products to support over 100K concurrent users during large remote hiring events.

Requirements:

Candidates must have hands-on experience in frontend debugging and testing.

Knowledge of browser environments and experience in building multiscreen applications is a bonus.
A metrics-driven approach, especially regarding web performance and optimization, is important.
Nice to have skills include fullstack experience (Ruby), understanding of frontend security, exposure to other frameworks, knowledge of backend APIs, and familiarity with TypeScript.
