Description:
As a Frontend Staff Developer at Workleap's Internal Developer Platform team, you will build technological solutions that form the foundation of all software products developed at Workleap.
Enhance the services catalog available to all developers as ready-to-use services to promote reusability, reduce development costs, shorten time to market, and achieve a more advantageous return on investment.
Act as a mentor to help developers grow and perform.
Bring best practices from the market, engage in the community, share knowledge, and drive their adoption within the organization.
Responsible for evolving the vision and goals of the frontend IDP.
Accelerate decision-making when consensus cannot be otherwise reached.
Lead by example in creating value and delivering high-quality results efficiently.
Lead initiatives within the company to continuously improve practices.
Enable the team to deliver more value that meets stakeholders' needs while balancing risk mitigation and finding the right balance between fast delivery and over-engineering.
Help solve complex problems requiring thorough analysis and understanding of all variables.
Embody and promote team principles such as open-source software, humility, value delivery, quality documentation, and teamwork mindset.
Impact by adopting a product-oriented mindset and collaborating with development teams to understand their needs.
Work with a team of 8 experienced developers and a Technical Product Manager, collaborating closely with other teams in the ecosystem.
Address challenges like building internal product offerings for development teams, facilitating web application creation, continuous integration tools, dependency management, common coding standards, and feedback loops improvement.
Requirements:
Proficiency in React, advanced skills in Vanilla JavaScript and Node.js.
Advanced knowledge of Frontend tooling like Webpack, Babel, SWC, Storybook, Chromatic, ESLint, Stylelint, TypeScript, Jest, PNPM, Monorepos, or similar tools.
Strong experience in designing systems and APIs, and technical documentation.
Good understanding of TypeScript, JSON-RPC, REST, ECMAScript specifications, modern frontend build pipelines, and hosting providers like Netlify, Cloudflare, and Vercel.
Ability to stay updated with frontend community changes, apply the latest technologies, and integrate them into the tech stack.
Submission of a portfolio demonstrating experience and expertise is required as part of the candidate experience process.
