Remote Frontend Staff Engineer

Description:

• Join Qonto as a Front-End Staff Engineer to lead the Regate team's transition from monolith architecture to mono-repos, improving product delivery by optimizing front-end operations.
• Collaborate with Victor, a seasoned Staff Engineer, to enhance testing frameworks and design systems across all front-end squads.
• Responsibilities include migrating from monolith to mono-repo, developing a robust testing framework, synchronizing coding design systems with the design team, mentoring mid-level and senior engineers, and reviewing and optimizing front-end code regularly.
• Value proactive problem-solving, flexibility in project management, and a strong focus on quality and scalability.
• Recent successful projects include transitioning the testing framework to include more comprehensive integration tests, reducing bugs in production.
• Tools used include React, TypeScript, Cypress, Vitest, React Query, and Styled-components.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in React and TypeScript with a strong understanding of modern testing frameworks.
• Experience leading large-scale architectural transitions, such as from monolith to mono-repos.
• Excellent communication skills to mentor and elevate a team of skilled developers.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
