Description:

  • This is a contract position for those based in Brazil, with an initial contract of 6 months and strong potential for extension.
  • Nearform is an independent team of engineers, designers, data experts, and strategists focused on building intelligent digital solutions.
  • The Frontend Tech Lead will define the technical roadmap, uphold best practices, and mentor the front-end engineering team.
  • Responsibilities include providing technical and line-management leadership, working directly with clients, establishing a technical vision, evaluating frontend technologies, ensuring application performance, enforcing coding standards, guiding frontend developers, defining testing strategies, designing scalable systems, and providing project status reports.

Requirements:

  • Proficient communication in English (oral and written) and excellent communication skills are required.
  • Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 4+ years in a frontend architect or technical leadership role.
  • Expertise in JavaScript, Typescript, and frontend frameworks such as React and Vue.js is necessary.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or Vuex is required.
  • Experience with design systems and component libraries (e.g., Storybook, Material-UI, Tailwind CSS) is essential.
  • Candidates should have experience with modern front-end build systems (Webpack, Vite, Babel, Rollup).
  • A strong understanding of performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, code splitting, caching, etc.) is needed.
  • Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and E2E testing (Jest, Cypress, Mocha, etc.) is required.
  • Familiarity with deployment pipelines, Docker, and AWS is necessary.
  • Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and hands-on experience with a backend language is required.
  • The ability to work closely with designers and contribute to UI/UX discussions is essential.
  • Experience working directly with customers and users is necessary.
