Description:
Tamber is an AI-powered music assistant designed to empower musicians by streamlining their workflows and enhancing creativity.
The company believes AI should assist artists—not replace them—allowing musicians to focus on making music instead of getting lost in technical processes.
Tamber helps with everything from songwriting and arrangement to production, DAW control, and intelligent music discovery.
As a Frontend UX/UI Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the design team and backend engineers to build a seamless, visually compelling, and high-performance platform for musicians.
You will be responsible for bringing high-fidelity designs to life, optimizing performance, and ensuring a smooth, intuitive user experience across Tamber’s products.
The role offers an opportunity to shape the future of music technology by designing tools that inspire and empower musicians worldwide.
Requirements:
You must have 3+ years of experience in frontend development, focused on UI/UX implementation.
Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is required.
Experience with Shadcn and Tailwind CSS for building clean, modern UI components is necessary.
You should be able to translate Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD designs into high-performance, user-friendly experiences.
An understanding of component-based architecture and frontend state management is essential.
Familiarity with motion design and interactive animations (Framer Motion, Lottie, or OpenGL experience is a plus) is expected.
Experience working closely with designers to refine UI interactions and usability is important.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail when implementing UI/UX are required.
A passion for music technology and an interest in improving tools for musicians is essential.
Benefits:
You will be part of an early-stage, mission-driven team redefining music production and discovery, with your work directly impacting how artists create.
As an early engineering hire, you will have the opportunity to refine Tamber’s frontend architecture and user experience.
The position offers competitive compensation with a salary range of $165,000-$185,000, based on experience and impact.
Tamber provides flexible time off with an open PTO policy, promoting work-life balance.
The company has a remote-first culture, allowing you to work from anywhere as long as you align with their mission and team.
