Remote Frontend Web Developer/Designer

Description:

• The Frontend Web Developer/Designer will be responsible for building and implementing web experiences for over 244 enterprise brands in various industries such as Restaurant, Retail, Home services, Franchise, and Manufacturing.
• Collaborate with design and customer success teams to convert visual designs into functional websites using the DevHub platform toolset.
• Develop clean, efficient, and well-structured HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
• Customize templates and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize websites for mobile devices.
• Implement interactive and dynamic elements using JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure smooth functionality and optimal performance.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in front-end web development and implement them in projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team as needed.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in website development and building websites.
• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS.
• Experience with theme development or HTML templating languages (i.e. WordPress, Shopify, Django, or Handlebars).
• Proficiency in responsive web design and mobile-first development.
• Experience with writing interactive Javascript (i.e. jQuery or Vanilla JS) to add interactions to HTML/CSS.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment.
• Strong time management skills with experience in a time-sensitive development environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to implement pixel-perfect designs.
• Experience with Jinja/Django/Shopify templating languages is a plus.
• Experience in SEO or Local SEO best practices is a plus.
