Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about mobile development and has a strong understanding of iOS app development concepts and best practices.
The candidate should be oriented to ensure the quality of the products we build.
This position demands fluent English.
The role is full-time and fully remote, based in Uruguay.

Requirements:

A higher degree in Computer Science or a similar field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in iOS development is necessary.
The candidate must have experience developing multi-threaded, asynchronous code.
Strong Object-Oriented programming and design skills are essential.
Familiarity with SOLID Design Principles is required.
The candidate should have strong experience in building native mobile (iOS) applications with an emphasis on performance and robustness.
Knowledge of design patterns such as MVC and MVVM is necessary.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines is essential.
Familiarity with version control, issue tracking, and continuous integration environments (JIRA/Confluence/Jenkins) is required.
The candidate should be familiar with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
Experience in Agile methodologies is necessary.
Good to have: Excellent troubleshooting skills, especially with multi-threaded and performance-oriented applications.
Good to have: Experience with reactive architecture RxSwift, RxCocoa.
Good to have: Experience with XCTest Framework and UI Testing.
Good to have: Ability to work well with tight schedules and rapid development cycles.
Good to have: Experience with audio/video real-time communication and streaming video protocols (RTSP/RTP/HLS).
Good to have: Experience with SIP, H265/264 Codec, FFMPEG, WEBRTC.
