Description:
TLNT is a people-first organization focused on connecting humans with humans in recruitment.
The company is a fast-moving performance-marketing agency that builds AI-native software for launching landing pages, generating banner ads, and managing Google and Meta campaigns at scale.
They are seeking a Full-Stack AI Engineer to take features from whiteboard to production, owning every layer of the stack while creating self-serve interfaces for clients.
The role involves end-to-end feature ownership, driving complex projects from problem statement through architecture, implementation, QA, and rollout.
The engineer will ship reliable, secure, and performant code that is easy for teammates to extend.
Responsibilities include building and refining PHP/Laravel services that utilize language- and image-generation models for creating landing pages and ad creatives.
The engineer will design repeatable prompt-engineering workflows for non-technical teammates to produce high-quality outputs.
The role requires creating clean, responsive interfaces using Laravel Blade, JavaScript, and CSS, ensuring that complex marketing tasks are effortless.
The engineer will communicate with clients and team members, explaining trade-offs, surfacing risks, and demonstrating new features.
Documentation of architecture and user guides is also a key responsibility.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience building production web apps, preferably SaaS or internal automation tools.
Expert-level proficiency in PHP with deep experience in Laravel is required.
Strong front-end skills using Laravel Blade, vanilla JavaScript, and modern CSS, with attention to typography, spacing, and UI polish are necessary.
Proven ability to work independently on high-complexity projects with minimal oversight is essential.
Habitual use of AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and others to accelerate delivery is expected.
A solid understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, SQL, Git, and cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or similar) is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, with comfort in async, remote-first workflows.
A bias for action, including pragmatic scope cuts, rapid iteration, and a “ship-then-improve” mentality, is important.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with ad-tech APIs (Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Marketing, LinkedIn, TikTok), familiarity with generative-media stacks, basic design skills in Figma or Adobe XD, and knowledge of analytics platforms.
Benefits:
The position offers a competitive salary.
It is a full-time, long-term position that is immediately available.
The role requires entering into an independent contractor agreement.
Employees can work from home.
The working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (+/- 2 hours accepted) PST.
The company promotes creative freedom, focusing on performance and craft rather than micromanagement.
Additional perks are also provided.
