Remote Full Stack AI Engineer

Description:

• H2O.ai is seeking a Full Stack AI Engineer to collaborate with the Kaggle GM team in developing and deploying transformative AI solutions from concept to market.
• The role involves end-to-end development, including data engineering, model development, backend and frontend integration, and scalable deployment.
• Responsibilities include designing and implementing AI applications, creating robust backend services and APIs, developing intuitive user interfaces, deploying AI models on cloud platforms, and utilizing advanced development tools.
• The preferred location for this position is Europe, with a strong preference for the DACH region.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or in a similar software development role is required.
• Hands-on experience in data engineering, machine learning model development, and full-stack application development is necessary.
• Contributions to open source projects and a public track record of AI experience are essential.
• Core proficiency in Python and some experience in JavaScript is expected.
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and a basic understanding of fine-tuning deep learning models focusing on LLMs are required.
• Experience with backend technologies including Python, FastAPI, and SQL/NoSQL/S3 is necessary.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React and NextJS is required.
• Experience with deployment tools like Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services for deploying LLMs efficiently is essential.
• Ability to utilize AI-assisted coding tools and platforms to enhance development productivity is required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail are necessary.
