Remote Full Stack ASP.NET Developer

Description:

• Join our team as a Full Stack ASP.NET Developer, working for a worldwide insurance and consulting services provider.
• You will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of a large-scale data processing application, ensuring seamless data transformations.
• Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining the backend using ASP.NET 6.0 (updating to 8.0), with a focus on MVC architecture.
• You will contribute to front-end development using jQuery to enhance user interfaces.
• Collaborate on a data processing application that converts XLSX files into XML formats based on configurable rules.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in software development is required.
• Experience in ASP.NET development, with a solid understanding of MVC architecture is essential.
• You must have experience working with MS SQL databases and familiarity with SQLite for data processing tasks.
• Hands-on experience with jQuery for front-end development tasks is necessary.
• Experience in developing or maintaining applications that involve data transformation and processing is required.
• Great communication skills are a must.
• Good English language skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
• Nice-to-have qualifications include knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) for building rich desktop applications.
• A basic understanding of Azure and Kubernetes is preferred, as the project is beginning its migration to the cloud.
• Familiarity with XML and XLSX formats and conversion processes is a plus.
