Description:

rockITdata is seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join their team remotely.
The role involves building end-to-end data solutions and working on diverse data projects.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable data ingestion pipelines, integrating data from various sources, and developing data storage solutions such as data lakes and warehouses.
The engineer will also implement data processing workflows, design data models, build software applications and APIs, and establish monitoring mechanisms for data pipelines.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala is necessary for data engineering and software development.
A strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling techniques, and SQL programming is essential.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for building and deploying data solutions is required.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake is necessary.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git and software development best practices such as Agile and CI/CD is required.
