Makpar has an exciting opportunity for a rising Junior Developer (L1 or 2) to join as a Full Stack Developer.
This role involves developing mobile applications to support Federal business functions with full software development lifecycle.
The position requires a focus on user experience, back-end programming, and data management in a rapid prototype development environment.
The ideal candidate will have a sound background in computer sciences, programming, and IT services, with a continuous desire to learn and grow.
Responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to design, develop, and implement features for the Portal platform.
The developer will also be responsible for maintaining responsive web applications, building and integrating APIs, and participating in the full software development lifecycle.
The role requires following Agile principles and collaborating with the QA team to ensure software quality.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, primarily in back-end development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications.
Hands-on experience with React Native front-end development is necessary.
Back-end development experience in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Databricks, or other server-side technologies is required.
Familiarity with mobile frameworks, lifecycle, and package deployment is essential.
Demonstrated proficiency with AWS Cloud services is needed.
Knowledge of Java, Python, C#, or other structured or object-oriented programming languages is required.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) is necessary.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration and test automation using GitHub and similar tools is preferred.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA) and mobile app deployment processes is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills are required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary for effective work in cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in projects related to government services, customer experience, or financial services is a plus.
Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3 years and be Federal Tax compliant.
