Remote Full-Stack Developer (Back-End Focus)

Description:

• Oowlish, a rapidly expanding software development company in Latin America, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with a strong focus on back-end development.
• The selected candidate will collaborate with premier clients from the United States and Europe to create pioneering digital solutions.
• This position requires working efficiently within PST working hours and having a user-focused development approach.
• The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in back-end and full-stack development, proficiency in frameworks like Express.js and Next.js, and experience in building SPAs and consumer-facing websites.
• Familiarity with Prismic Headless CMS, Next.js API Routes, and ADA-compliant frontends using React is highly desirable.
• Other requirements include knowledge of SEO practices, Chakra UI for frontend components, and proficiency in English.
• The role involves managing time effectively between development and code reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in back-end and full-stack development.
• Proficiency in Express.js, Next.js, or similar frameworks.
• Experience building SPAs and consumer-facing, content-heavy websites.
• Familiarity with Prismic Headless CMS or other Headless CMS solutions.
• Knowledge of Next.js API Routes, Configuration, and Middleware.
• Experience with accessibility standards and building ADA-compliant frontends using React.
• Proven experience in implementing SEO practices.
• Proficiency in using Chakra UI for frontend components.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Product and user experience-driven development approach.
• Ability to manage time effectively between development and code reviews.
• Open to working within PST working hours (9am-6pm PST).
