Description:
Goldschmitt and Associates LLC (G&A) is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their Agile team to support a modernization program for the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Federal Student Aid.
This position is fully remote.
The developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex Angular 2+ applications, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
The role involves working as a member of multiple scrum teams to develop, integrate, and deploy high-quality reusable, testable, and efficient code, including Microservices with Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
Collaboration with UX designers, business analysts, and QA teams is essential to deliver exceptional user experiences.
The developer will implement accessibility features adhering to Section 508 and WCAG AA guidelines.
Responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting technical requirements, UI specifications, style guides, and YAML documents.
Participation in code reviews and implementing various Git branching strategies is required.
The developer will write Unit Test frameworks (JUnit, Mocking frameworks), ensure code coverage, and integrate work with GitLab.
Optimizing front-end performance and ensuring cross-browser compatibility is a key responsibility.
The role includes creating and maintaining custom Angular services, directives, pipes, and components.
Developing responsive web designs using advanced CSS techniques and frameworks is also part of the job.
Requirements:
Candidates must possess at least 5 years of related experience in software development.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance is required.
Candidates must be United States citizens.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, or an additional 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Professional experience with JAVA and developing/maintaining backend APIs is necessary.
Experience with REST API, JSON, and using API test cases in SOAP UI, PostMan, or ReadyAPI is required.
Candidates must have experience implementing and maintaining Spring Boot applications.
Proficiency in Git/GitLab DevOps/CI/CD platform is required.
Familiarity with common web development frameworks such as Angular, Docker, React, Spring, Node.js, jQuery, and Microservice Design is necessary.
Experience with SQL and PGAdmin is required.
Candidates must have experience with the Angular 2+ framework and TypeScript.
Proficiency in Git version control and collaborative development platforms (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket) is required.
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design is necessary.
Experience with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material Design is required.
