Remote Full-stack Developer

Description:

• The Full-stack Developer position at Flywire involves building and maintaining the user interface for the middleware platform that integrates with Flywire products and institution student information systems.
• The developer will work on designing new integration functionality and enhancing current integration capabilities to improve implementation speed, cost, and scalability of the product.
• Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code, ensuring optimal performance and quality of the design, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle, collaborating with global teams, and assisting fellow developers in skill growth.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a React developer is required.
• Experience working as a Java developer is necessary.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming and web services with REST architecture.
• Expertise in designing, developing, and supporting scalable, performant, and reliable web applications and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with middleware technologies, continuous delivery, and microservices.
• Experience in fintech or the payment industry is appreciated.
• Knowledge of QA testing and automation is a plus.
• Experience with school’s ERP systems like Workday or PeopleSoft is advantageous.
