Remote Full Stack Developer

Description:

• Work alongside a team focused on solving real-world problems and improving external partnering for Fortune 500 companies.
• Lead complex product initiatives, break them down into smaller tasks, and see them through to completion with minimal supervision.
• Design code that is flexible and easy to maintain.
• Ensure code quality within the team by reviewing others' code for performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to achieve the company's vision and roadmap.
• Partner with designers and product managers to translate complex business challenges into technical solutions.
• Contribute to an engineering team that deploys new code multiple times per week.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development using React, Ruby on Rails, and a strong engineering background.
• Knowledge of Redis, Heroku, Postgres, and Typesense is advantageous.
• Ability to create simple, well-tested code that is scalable and robust.
• Proficiency in explaining technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Understanding of performance optimization, load balancing, and operational considerations.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices throughout the development life cycle.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in product or project management in a tech or startup environment is a plus.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and analytics tools is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Enthusiasm for product development and a desire to learn and evolve in a dynamic startup setting.
