Remote Full-Stack Developer (Django/Python)

Description:

• Our client is the world’s largest marketplace for hiring social media influencers, operating in a fast-growing $20 billion industry.

• You will work closely with the full-stack development team and the founders of the company.
• The position requires executing the company's roadmap and meeting deadlines.
• Responsibilities include developing front-end features using HTML/CSS/Javascript and jQuery, as well as back-end features in Python using the Django framework.
• A strong sense of design and understanding of user interaction with features or products is essential.

Requirements:

• You must be a full-stack developer proficient in Python and the Django web framework.
• A strong eye for design is required, with UI/UX design experience being a major plus.
• Proficiency in Javascript/jQuery, HTML, and CSS is necessary.
• Experience in developing mobile responsive applications is required.
• You should have a strong understanding of writing scalable and efficient code that can support over 1,000,000 visitors per month.
• Knowledge of Postgresql and efficient database usage is essential.
• You must be able to speak and write in English.
• You should be located within 5 hours of the PST timezone.
• Past work or projects with Django, HTML/CSS, and Javascript are required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines are necessary.
• Proven ability to maintain structured records and documentation is required.
• You should thrive in a remote, asynchronous environment.

Not mandatory, but highly valued:

• Proficiency with Figma or similar design tools is appreciated.
• Understanding of Opensearch/Elasticsearch is a plus.
• Experience using organizational tools (e.g., Notion or similar tools) is valued.
• Experience in building APIs is beneficial.
• Mobile app development experience is a plus.
