Remote Full-Stack Developer ( Python )

Description:

• We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer with strong Python expertise to support our growing development needs.
• The role involves working alongside an existing team to enhance a backend platform, improve scalability, and assist in transitioning a website from Wix to a more suitable solution.
• This is a contract position for an initial duration of 1–2 months, with the potential for extension based on project requirements.
• Core tasks include developing and optimizing backend services and APIs using Python, assisting with feature development, and supporting existing backend/frontend work.
• The developer will help transition a website from Wix to a more scalable platform, collaborating with a Cloud Backend Engineer to ensure smooth integration.
• Responsibilities also include improving system performance, scalability, and database efficiency, as well as working with GitHub for version control, code reviews, and collaboration.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3+ years of full-stack development experience with a strong focus on Python.
• Proficiency in backend development, API design, and database management is required.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Vue, or similar is necessary.
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow is a must.
• A solid understanding of GitHub workflows, pull requests, and CI/CD is essential.
• Candidates should be familiar with modern web development platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or custom solutions.
• The ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, startup-like environment is required.
• Bonus points for experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or similar.
