Remote Full-stack Developer (Python)

• Responsibilities include collaborating with the development team to design, develop, and deploy new backend services for web features.
• The developer will write clean, maintainable, and performant code based on industry best practices and team conventions.
• They will build robust, high-quality REST API endpoints, backend components, and GraphQL schema to support feature development.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of supporting backend/full stack experience is required.
• At least 2 years of experience as a web engineer is mandatory.
• Strong experience with Python is essential.
• Candidates must have strong experience with API development.
• Proficiency in relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL is required.
• Experience with Go is necessary.
• Expertise with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is required.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and unit testing frameworks is essential.
• Experience with NextJS is required.
• Candidates should have experience with GraphQL, both client- and server-side.
• Knowledge of design systems and UI/UX best practices is necessary.
• Experience in leading technical projects, including scoping and breaking down work, leading and assisting other engineers, and coordinating test plans with QA, is a plus.
• The ability to work independently and proactively communicate progress and blockers is required.
