Description:

  • The Full Stack Development Team Lead will be part of the Development team and report directly to the Head of Development.
  • Responsibilities include managing, mentoring, and guiding a small group of developers while also taking on hands-on architectural duties.
  • The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining the architecture for solutions built on the HubSpot platform, including websites, custom UI extensions, intricate workflows, and API integrations.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, marketing consultants, designers, and project managers, is essential to deliver scalable and innovative solutions.
  • The Team Lead will shape the technical strategy, uphold best practices for HubSpot development, and ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
  • Experience with HubSpot is preferred but not required.
  • Key tasks include architecting scalable full-stack architectures, leading frontend and backend development, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and staying updated on the latest technologies.
  • The Team Lead will also assist in pre-sales scoping and maintain strong proficiency in HubSpot.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in computer science or software engineering is required.
  • Candidates should have mid to senior-level work experience in full-stack development, including frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular) and backend technologies (Node.js, Python, PHP).
  • A minimum of 2 years in team leadership roles, managing and mentoring technical teams, is necessary.
  • Strong team management and delegation abilities are essential.
  • Experience in creating technical briefs and project implementation plans is required.
  • Proven success in leading technical projects and balancing technical work with team management is expected.
  • Expertise in designing end-to-end systems and understanding architectural patterns like microservices is needed.
  • Extensive knowledge of development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and API development (RESTful, GraphQL) is required.
  • A solid grasp of performance optimization techniques for both frontend and backend is necessary.
  • Experience in developing responsive, mobile-first applications with backend integration is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges and excellent communication skills with stakeholders are required.
  • Candidates should be up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in development.
  • In-depth knowledge of HubSpot’s products and APIs, focusing on custom extensions and integrations, is preferred.
